This terrific off-kilter synth-rock monster is the first new track from Foals in four years.
Frontman Yannis Philippakis said: "There’s a definite idea about the world being no longer habitable in the way that it was. A kind of perilousness lack of predictability and a feeling of being overwhelmed by the magnitudes of the problems we face. What’s the response? And what’s the purpose of any response that one individual can have?"
The remarkable video for 'Exits' stars Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark from Game of Thrones) and French actress Christa Théret.
The four piece are one of the biggest alternative acts of the last decade, and their return has been highly anticipated. Along with this powerful new cut, the group have also announced the release of not one, but two new albums. 'Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost' is due out on March 8th, with the second installment expected in the Autumn. "They’re two halves of the same locket," explains Philippakis, "they can be listened to and appreciated individually, but fundamentally, they are companion pieces."
Foals will be touring the UK in June.
