After a strange instrumental hidden track in the CD's pre-gap, the album launches with the classic single 'The Man Don't Give A Fuck'. Other songs include B sides from singles, EP tracks and recordings from various compilations. First editions of the album came in rubber case shaped like a breast. The last track, "Blerwytirhwng" (Welsh for "Where are You Between?") contains a five-minute outro of looped sci-fi noises. According to Gruff Rhys the band "had to painfully omit some songs to compile Out Spaced as an album in its own right".
