Track Of The Day: To Rococo Rot - 'Baritone'

The first To Rococo Rot album in five years was released recently. A bubbling mixture of post rock atmospheres, ambient electronics, rhythmic repetitions, and even a spot of acid house, 'Instrument' throws up some interesting sounds, and appropriately enough for an album with such a title, the instrumental tracks are the ones that shine through the most. Delicious helpings of warm bass, the shuffle and snap of excellent rhythms and oddly compelling electronic textures make 'Baritone' one of the record's stand out tracks.
