Hugely underrated band from the late 80's/early 90's. I first heard of World Of Twist in an old Oasis book that I have had for many years, and then heard Beady Eye covering their 'Sons Of The Stage'. Then a few months ago I read a copy of MOJO magazine where BBC 6Music DJ Marc Riley picked the band's only album 'Quality Street' as one of the records that changed his life, enough persuasion for me to seek out a copy of the album. What a fine album it is too. A few members of this band ended up in 90's outfit Earl Brutus, and a few of them are now members of The Pre-New. Singer Tony Ogden tragically died in July 2006.
