Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds played an incredible set at this weekend's V Festival. In a set packed with material from his debut solo album, along with classic Oasis tracks, Gallagher wowed the large crowd on the Virgin Media Stage at the festival in Chelmsford. You can watch the whole show below.
Before playing a special acoustic version of 'Supersonic', Noel dedicated the track to Olympic 10,000m and 5,000m champion Mo Farah and received a rapturous response from the enthusiastic crowd. He also dedicated 'AKA What A Life' to his son Donovan, and an electric version of 1995 b side 'Talk Tonight' sounds fantastic.
Fans were in a cheeky mood and, at one point, some were heard chanting "where's Liam? Where's Liam?", to which Noel responded, "where's Ian? He’s backstage," referring to The Stone Roses frontman, who was also there to headline the festival later that night.
