Track Of The Day: Zack De La Rocha - 'Digging For Windows'

Some artists have a reputation for being prolific. Some do not. Remember when Elastica took 5 years to make a follow-up to their 1995 debut album? Or when Axl Rose's farcical 2000's-era Guns N' Roses line-up made fans wait 14 years for the hugely underwhelming 'Chinese Democracy'? Since hip hop-metal legends Rage Against The Machine originally split in 2000, frontman Zack De La Rocha has been promising solo material. He recorded an album with producers including DJ Shadow and Questlove but scrapped it after he felt like he "was going through the motions". Following an excellent collaboration with Run The Jewels in 2014, De La Rocha finally emerges with material of his own. Returning with a noticeably heavier hip hop flavour, the hard-hitting 'Digging For Windows' is available as a free download HERE.
