Much excitement this morning as I learned that BBC 6Music were playing the brand new Primal Scream single. The excellent '2013' resurrects the free-jazz and Krautrock flavours of 'XTRMNTR', and comes with some seriously beefy production courtesy of the great David Holmes, as well as guitar supplied by guest Kevin Shields. The full 9 minute version of '2013' will be available for download on Feb 25th. The new album 'More Light' follows on May 6th.
