The Divine Comedy released their sixth studio album 'Fin De Siecle' 20 years ago this week on 31 August 1998. This was the first album that I ever purchased by Neil Hannon and his band, and it is one of their finest works. It features the brilliant singles 'Generation Sex' and 'The Certainty Of Chance', as well as the hit 'National Express' and the powerful closer 'Sunrise', which documents Hannon's experiences growing up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.
You can listen to the album via YouTube below, and if you appreciate the music, go and buy yourself a copy.
