A song I first heard on the 'Trainspotting' soundtrack, and then on one of many 'Chill Out' compilations I own. There are far too many of these Chill Out compilations to choose from, so I'm in the process of making what I consider to be the ULTIMATE Chill Out. And this song will be on it... 'Deep Blue Day' is taken from 'Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks', a 1983 album by Brian Eno. It was written, produced, and performed by Eno, his brother Roger and Daniel Lanois. Music from the album appeared in the films 28 Days Later, Drive, Traffic and Trainspotting, whose soundtrack sold approximately four million copies. Two of the songs from the album, "Silver Morning" and "Deep Blue Day", were issued as a 7" single on EG Records.
