The 1997 release of the third Oasis album 'Be Here Now' was ridiculously overhyped. But for a good reason: they were the biggest band in the country and any new music from them was by that point a national event. So much so that if you bought the album from HMV on it's day of release like I did, you were awarded with this commemorative 'Certificate of purchase'. And all these years on in 2012, it's hard to believe goings on like this actually occurred, but the memories never fade for those like me. For my extended article on 'Be Here Now' I wrote last year on the 14th year anniversary of the album's release go here.
