Along with Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis, one of the first jazz artists I got into during the late 90's. Strangely enough it was the words of Primal Scream during one of their many interviews that made me aware of Coltrane and after picking up a copy of 'A Love Supreme' I was most impressed... It's not very often I feature jazz on 'Song For Today' or indeed anywhere else on this blog, so consider this classic a rare treat...
