A few weeks ago on Record Store Day, I was one of the people lucky enough to pick up one of 500 copies of a 7” single collaboration between Edwyn Collins and The Heartbreaks, recorded at West Heath Studios and released through AED Records. Side A was co-written in recent weeks, ‘What Are You Doing, Fool?’. The B side is a lovely duet of an Orange Juice classic, chosen by The Heartbreaks, ‘Untitled Melody’. A press release from AED Records reads: "This band, The Heartbreaks, have Edwyn and (co producer) Seb Lewsley’s full attention, admiration and affection. They’ve previously worked together on a brilliant track ‘Remorseful’, from the band’s debut album, ‘Funtimes’.
