Manchester Britpop heroes Northern Uproar are recording their fourth studio album, their first since 2007's 'Stand And Fight'.
Like the live acoustic album the band released earlier this year (see HERE) the new record will be funded by fans via the innovative PledgeMusic site.
The group are working at Toast Recordings with Manchester producer Chris Hamilton.
The band announced "Hi Folks, just a quick message to say the fourth album is on the way and the Pledge campaign will be live next week!
This time there will be Physical copies of the Album and not just the download , we are recording in Manchester in December and January and will be picking from around 20 songs we have been working on over the last year. We hope you will come onboard and support us on the journey!
There is a widget here for a free track for Facebook shares etc .. ‘The Addict’ which we recorded in 2005 and has never had an official release.
