'Sour Times' is an elegantly unsettling treasure by Portishead, released as their second-ever single in August 1994. It was also the first ever Portishead record I ever bought. Well I say record, I picked it up on cassette for 29p in the Woolworths bargain bin. Great days. Wouldn't this have made a great Bond theme?
