SONG FOR TODAY: The Beatles - 'Tomorrow Never Knows'

An old classic for you today. Well I say old, it's actually well and truly timeless, in the truest sense of the word.

What happens when the biggest pop group in the world beginning pushing the boundaries of their music to places that mainstream performers had never dared to?

As long as mankind inhabits the earth, 'Tomorrow Never Knows' will never fall from its pedestal. I bought an old mono copy of 'Revolver' today and listening to it is a true revelation.

Even 'Yellow Submarine' is sounding good! 'Tomorrow Never Knows' is the innovative closing track on 1966's 'Revolver' but the first to be recorded. Credited as a Lennon/McCartney song, it was written in fact primarily by John Lennon.
