Released 20 years ago back in September 1998, reaching number 87 in the UK singles chart. Known for their terrific guitar sounds and arrangements, the Nottingham band released their debut album The Things We Make earlier in the year and won acclaim for their epic indie rock. Over the years, the group would venture into space rock, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia, Krautrock and various other genres. They split in 2008, but reformed in 2012 with a new line-up and have released more great music since.
