Following a creative revival in the mid 2000's, Oasis returned with their seventh album 'Dig Out Your Soul' in 2008. When buying my copy on the day of release, I had no idea that it would be the final time that I'd be picking up a new Oasis album. The record was a more "groove based" set of songs that delved into psychedelica and blues, and again marked a major improvement on their output during the start of the decade. The tumbling rhythms and powerful melancholic flavours of 'Falling Down' provided the LP with a strong centrepiece, and turned out to be the final Oasis single, reaching number 10 in March 2009.
