The track is taken from his forthcoming and rather brilliant album 'A Flash of Darkness' due out through Acid Jazz on Feb 24th. It's his second LP as a solo artist and his first since The Bluetones went their separate ways a few years ago. Mark sums up the track is his own succinct style; "What is the purpose of this song..? Perhaps it is to make loneliness feel like Christmas."
The single is out now on a limited edition CD EP (yes, SOME artists still make 'em!" and you can catch Mark live on his remaining tour dates of December 2013...
