Michael Been of The Call, was BRMC’s guitarist and vocalist Robert Been’s father, and was viewed as an honorary ‘fourth member’ of the band. He died in August 2012.

The band's sixth studio album, their first since 2010, will be released through Abstract Dragon Records on March 18. The majority of 'Specter At The Feast' was recorded at Dave Grohl's studio in LA. Additional recording was done in Joshua Tree, CA at the infamous Rancho De La Luna Studio before they ventured to frontman Robert Been's hometown of Santa Cruz, CA to record the rest of the album.

"This record took a long time to pull together," Been explained in a press statement. "I think we all reached the breaking point after our last tour and needed to step back for a bit. These songs brought us back to life and gave us a second chance. I've never been more excited to play an album live before, these songs were born to be loud."

Speaking about the album earlier this year, BRMC revealed that there is a Pink Floyd influence on their new material. "We always were fans of Pink Floyd and Spiritualized records. As far as real albums where we wanted to attempt to take people on a ride and have songs crossfade and reach over and different tricks we'd always wanted to do, it was kind of fun to get to play around with that," Been told Rolling Stone.

To support the album, the band will perform in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London between March 24-27. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will play:

Manchester Ritz (March 24)
Glasgow ABC (25)
Birmingham Institute (26)
London Brixton Academy (27)
