Punk legends Rancid certainly are a prolific bunch. Lars Frederiksen has his side project Lars Frederiksen And the Bastards, Tim Armstrong (as well as being a former member of Operation Ivy and a solo artist) is also in the Transplants and bassist Matt Freeman (another former member of Op Ivy) takes vocal duties on the rowdy enjoyable psychobilly made by Devil's Brigade. Originally Devil's Brigade was made up of Freeman, Armstrong and former Rancid drummer Brett Reed, recording two EPs (in 2003 and 2005). Last year in 2010, DJ Bonebrake of punk band X was recruited on drums and Devil's Brigade released a rather pleasing self titled album.
